There are so many ways you can join us!  There are so many ways you can pick up new ideas!  There are so many ways you can work through us to benefit your profession!  You can get our newsletter sent to you at home or school. You can send in ideas to be published in the newsletter – PLEASE! You can join us on the web at www.vast.org/vip whenever you have a few minutes to browse.  Tony Wayne has done a fantastic job with the website – check it out.  You can also join us through email at our yahoogroups group.  Just send an email to va-inst-phys-subscribe@yahoogroups.com to join the e-fun.

This is a fun way to share ideas and keep in touch w/ teachers & professors from around the state. (and even a few  from out of the state!)

But best of all – come join us for real!  Come to the spring VIP meeting.  No fees, No dues just great fun and a chance to take home some great new ideas.  Also a chance to share something that works for you with your fellow physics teachers.

At the spring meeting we will construct and use triggering mechanisms to do some high speed photography.  You will help construct the trigger & then use it to capture a high speed event on film.  You take home your picture!  If you’d like to take home the trigger mechanism all you have to do is cover cost.  That will be somewhere between 5 and 10 dollars.
