WRITING CONTEST

ALL: The subject area (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, etc.) must be clearly
identified on the front of the entry.

NO POETRY CATEGORY THIS YEAR.

FICTIONAL STORIES:
All entries must have a science theme.
Must be typed
Should be between 3 and 10 pages.
Includes short stories and science fiction stories.

IMPORTANT:
To enter the contest you must turn in your entry to your science teacher by
STEP on the Monday before Spring Break.

Student's names should not appear on submissions. Students will be assigned a number from their teacher. This assigned number should be on all the work.

Winners will be announced the week after Science Week.

TEACHER'S NOTE: Have an English teacher(s) grade the papers. Give plenty of time the them to be turned in and graded.
