ROCK ID CONTEST

GOAL: To correctly identify rocks found in nature from their pictures and/or direct observation.

Students will report to 2 rooms, 10 at a time, rocks will be glued to a "board," students will have 10 minutes to ID as many rocks as possible. The rocks will have a number of basic board arrangements.

RULES:
1. You get a point for every rock you identify correctly up to a maximum of 15 points.
2. You work by yourself during the contest.
3. The contest is timed.
