Art Contest

ALL WORKS MUST HAVE A SCIENCE THEME

FINE ARTS:
Must be at least 16 by 20 inches (for painting and drawings)
Types of work that are acceptable:
Paintings - in oils, acrylics, water colors or pastels
Drawings -graphite, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, or pen and ink
Rubbings
Print of one's own
Sculpture -minimum of 6 inches -clay, wood, or stone
soft or hard sculptures

FORMS NOT ACCEPTABLE:
Crafted forms -Decopague, cut and paste items, architectural renderings,
Posters with a written message and /or writing of any kind .

A student may submit only one entry for the Art contest.

Student's names should not appear on submissions. Students will be assigned a number from their teacher. This assigned number should be on all the work.

ENTRIES ARE DUE ON THE MONDAY BEFORE SPRING BREAK TO YOUR SCIENCE TEACHER. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED THE WEEK AFTER SCIENCE WEEK.
